New Blog - who dis

So apparently I decided to start a blog, a couple of years ago, but never published anything. So here goes nothing.

There were already some, lets call them drafts here, the first one from 2018, one titled 2021-10-22_i-just-found-this.md which contained the following:

So apparently, I decided to write a dev blog, 3 years ago.

And then the only survivor: 2022-01-18_interfaces-galore

Along with these md files there are several abandoned blog related Projects:

• A Cloudflare Pages Project, with functions loading the markdown data from the R2 Bucket, and utilizing another bucket for authentication, with a whole admin GUI for writing these posts.
• And one which was called vite-blog which started as a blog with a terminal-esk look, and then spiralled into a vue based fake terminal.

And now this one, where I utilize next.js to generate static pages from my markdown.

But enough about the Lore of this Blog, who even am I?

I am a senior (fuck already?) Software Developer from Germany, I code mostly in PHP, Typescript and lua. I am a fullstack developer, but I prefer backend development. I sometimes do frontend development (I even enjoy it when I get the chance to use state-of-the-art building tools). I know my way around Docker, Heroku and even tipped some toes (fell into) Kubernetes. I do a lot of coding in my spare time, mostly Games and little thought experiments. Some of it might even be interesting enough for a Post here.

Anyway, I pledge to write about it more frequently than one post every couple of years.
